Regina Ragone

Regina Ragone, R.D., is Food Director for Family Circle magazine. Her experience in journalism includes her role as food editor of Prevention Magazine, test kitchen director for Ladies Home Journal magazine, food editor for both Weight Watchers magazine and the Weight Watchers Publishing Group and nutritionist for Family Circle magazine. She is the author of the cookbooks Win the Fat War and Decadent Diabetic Desserts, and co-author of Meals that Heal. She was Vice President for nutrition at Hunter Public Relations and Ogilvy Public Relations. She has been regularly featured on NBC’s The Today Show, giving tips about food, its presentation, and nutrition. She is co-founder with Dr. Susan Mitchell of, a website rich in nutrition- related information and recipes. Their podcast “Breaking Down Nutrition” has been named by US News and World Report one of the top ten nutrition podcasts to add to your playlist.

Regina is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Les Dames D’Escoffier. She received her MS in Nutrition from Queens College and her BS in Nutrition and Foods from New York University. She has dedicated her career to educating people on the many benefits of eating healthy foods, without renouncing the delight of the delicious.

Elizabeth Fassberg

Elizabeth Fassberg, MPH, RD, CDN, is the owner of EAT FOOD, a food and nutrition consultancy in New York City. Her life has been a culinary adventure. Her earliest memories include cookies that were not bought but made at home and bread that didn’t come in mushy white loaves, but was hearty, whole grain and locally baked.

With a B.A. in journalism from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, she began working as a food editor at a national woman’s magazine. With her passion for food and nutrition she became a Registered Dietitian with a Masters in Public Health from New York University.

Since opening EAT FOOD in 2004, she has focused on making food meaningful and easy.  EAT FOOD helps make food and nutrition make sense for companies, organizations and individuals who are in a position to positively impact people’s health and well-being.  Her clients include the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation, Boys and Girls Clubs, Braun, Unilever, Schulte Roth and Zabel among others.
